O cartucho de filtro de alto fluxo Ultra-H da Brother Filtration, um substituto consagrado para o elemento de alto fluxo Cuno da 3M, teve seu desempenho aprovado por uma importante usina química a carvão na China.
A China investiu 550 bilhões de yuans neste projeto, que abrange uma área total de 815,67 hectares, dos quais 334,4 hectares são ocupados pela própria usina. A usina utiliza carvão como principal matéria-prima, consumindo anualmente 19,376 milhões de toneladas de carvão bruto, 5,219 milhões de toneladas de carvão combustível e um total de 24,595 milhões de toneladas.
O consumo anual de água do projeto é de 24,78 milhões de metros cúbicos.
O projeto foi concluído e entrou em operação, produzindo 4,05 milhões de toneladas de petróleo por ano. Isso representa o maior portfólio de investimentos individual e a maior instalação do mundo com direitos de propriedade intelectual independentes para um projeto de demonstração de liquefação indireta de carvão.

Este projeto é a primeira fase de uma planta de pré-tratamento e dessalinização por membranas, abrangendo o pré-tratamento e a dessalinização por membranas de rejeitos de mineração, o pré-tratamento e a dessalinização por membranas de águas residuais da indústria química de carvão e o tratamento de efluentes em conformidade com as normas.
O tratamento total de água nesta fase atinge 5000 m³/h, exigindo 16 carcaças de filtro de alto fluxo em duas unidades. A capacidade de tratamento de água para cada carcaça atinge 300 m³/h, e cada carcaça contém oito elementos filtrantes de 40 polegadas.
Existem dois sistemas de osmose reversa na planta. A água bruta é combinada com águas residuais e água de mineração após pré-filtração e filtração por membrana de osmose reversa. Após o tratamento por membrana de osmose reversa, a água segue para o próximo processo de produção.
Até o momento, fornecemos 6000 filtros de alto fluxo Ultra-H para esta planta, e o desempenho tem sido bastante satisfatório.
